“This is a fine quality antique Georgian oak Welsh dresser, originating from Anglesey / Caernarfonshire (North Wales), displaying a stunning colour, circa 1830, in excellent condition. The base and rack are original to each other. Nominal old use marks to the top of the dresser and leading edges and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The dresser has been cleaned and wax-polished in our workshop, therefore it boasts a stunning original colour and patination. The drawers and cupboard doors feature old Victorian replacement brass knobs, which are the style of knobs that would have originally been used (it was common for handles and knobs to be replaced, to stay in line with the changing fashions and trends). All drawers and doors are in good working condition. There are working original locks to the top central drawer and cupboard doors, with a working key.
